I am currently the Charles G. Koch Doctoral Fellow at West Virginia University. I earned my doctorate in Economics at West Virginia University in the Spring of 2009. Beginning in the Fall of 2009, I will be an Assistant Professor of Economics at Duquesne University.
My current research interests include analyzing the nature and economic impact of legislative tenure, the effects of foreign aid and intervention in generating global public bads, and highlighting the OECD's support of dictators.
I also edited Unleashing Capitalism: Why Prosperity Stops at the West Virginia Border and How to Fix It.
In addition, I write a column for The State Journal and contribute to The Perfect Substitute.
